A Blue Cast
Wednesday, June 17, 2015Hi,
So today I'll be sharing my purchases from Perth designer, Steph Audino. As you all know, during this time of the year there are a lot of mid year sales. Steph Audino the label was having a sample sale with garments as cheap as $20. In this post, I'd be explaining my styling choices, and the effects of my body figure due to those choices.
The shirt is a must have piece. Even though the design is simplistic in terms of colour and patter, due to the cut and length of this garment, it can by styled to create a whole range of interesting looks. In this look I wanted to play with my use of length in my outfit. I had extended the length of my top in which it falls below my jacket in the back. This helped create an unique feature within my outfit. Whilst in the front, I had knotted the top to accentuate my waistline and to compliment my figure.
The shorts have a pleated cut, and have a a-line shape. They're also high-waisted, if you cannot tell from the pictures. These shorts have a very simplistic cut to them. However due to their simplicity, this makes them a staple for any wardrobe, as they can be worn in numerous ways. Like the knotted top, these shorts help define my waistline, due to their a-line cut. If you didn't know, a-line cuts compliment well with people who might not have such a noticeable waistline.
If you follow me on instagram (@moderndaychic) you'd know I now have a snapchat account! So please add me on snapchat as @moderndaychic. That is it for today's post. I hope you guys are well, and I'll hopefully have another post up soon.

Seriously, you put people our age to shame. I'm quite sure I've said it before but it's the truth. Just wish there were more people where we live that enjoy the innovation fashion can offer through all versatile, refined pieces.
